Personalize

You can personalize your cb-analytics experience by entering your ClickBank affiliate ID in the box to the left. This will allow cb-analytitcs to insert your affiliate ID into hoplinks generated on product pages. This will also enable hoplink cloaking feature.

Hoplink cloaking

Notice the small clickable rectangle with letter "C" to the right of hoplink text box on the product page. If you have entered your affiliate ID the text box will contain your personalized hoplink. If you click on the rectangle cb-analytics will generate a cloaked url via http://www.cloakreferer.com/. This URL will redirect users to the publisher website. Your affiliate ID is going to be preserved.

Referer cloaking

www.cloakreferer.com can redirect users in a way that clears the referer header of the HTTP request. This means that destination website doesn't will not be able to identify the source of the traffic. This may be useful if you don't want publishers to see your PPC keywords or website where you placed hoplinks. This doesn't affect your affiliate ID from being accurately tracked and commission being applied to your account.

Privacy

In short: CB-Analytics and www.CloakReferer.com are operated by the same entity. The only personal data that is passed from CB-Analytics to www.CloakReferer.com is your affiliate ID and referer cloaking settings that are needed for cloaked link generation. No personal data is ever shared with any third parties except when required by law. www.CloakReferer.com has it's own privacy policy that also prohibits sharing of personal data with any third parties unless required by law. www.CloakReferer.com does store recent web server access logs. These are only used to prevent malicious usage of the service.
